SoD vs normal Eq

I've played normal eq a bunch, and I just stumbled across this site.

I noticed that there are a few new spells added for each class ect.
But overall, how is playing SoD different than normal eq?
 
The most obvious difference is probably that SoD takes place in Dalaya and not Norrath. SoD has custom zone layouts, zone names, lore, history, gods, quests, NPC's, factions, etc. Same basic game engine, but it can be a totally new experience.
