SoD newbie.. Getting started

hey all, I'm a complete nub when it comes to private servers.. this will be the first EQ one that I've played on.. I'm still patching so I'll be on soon enough to try this out. I used to play EQ1 back in the day, had a 58 Necro on Tunare named Nezuk (probably bound to find that char name in the actual game soon enough as well lol). I also played on Povar a *really* long time ago but I don't recall any of my char names (back when scars of velious came out). I'm really looking forward to playing with you all and hope to find a nice "family oriented" guild at some point that will take a newbie.

Welcome to SoD.

As far as guilds go, you start out in <Dalayan Beginners>. I'd stay there for a while since it's such a good place to ask questions and get oriented with how SoD works as a game and as a community. Plus, the GMs hang out in that guild.
