You know, during my time in SoD I've come across some of the most honorable and likeable people any person can ever hope for in an online game. I can't speak highly enough of the GMs and Wiz and the job they do to keep the place clean of troublemakers and non sense. SoD is as good as it gets, period. But, every now and then even SoD will get a bad apple who likes to live in the past and think he's still in a pay for online game where you have to compete or else why bother playing. Now, I'm not going to say names and stuff, but I will say this much and you know who you are if you see this post. Perhaps I went overboard when I let you have it and even moreso when you tried to play Mr. Innocent and Honorable, but the one thing you and others who fail to understand and must realize is that I, like most of my cycgorge farming brothers and sisters have the utter most respect and honor for each other and others. I believe that to hold true for any zone and camp in this game. What that means is, we don't camp on top of each other. We have the common sense and understanding that it's just a waste of time to compete, nor do we really care to...
Now, I can't speak for my farming brothers and sisters, but I personally believe strongly that we have no ownership over any mob in this game, nor camp. I'm sure the GMs and Wiz himself will be quick to point out that we do not and I'm sure have done so. I have no problem if someone walks up to a camp I'm at, where ever it may be, and kill mobs that I haven't laid a finger on. In fact I encourage it. It's your right to engage any mob in this game if no one else is touching it if you feel the desire to do so. Now, I personally rather you be a bit more courteous like most people are in SoD, and ask me when I'll be done so you can come after, or ask me if you may come camp beside me and get some mobs too. I am more than willing to share. I'm far from a hog. I've shared the elders camp in cycgorge time and again and will continue to do so. I suppose the purpose for this thread is to explain to those few bad apples out there that there is no need to compete with people in this game. This is not live, or FFXI, or WoW, or whatever. I have no beef if you walk up in the elder camp and kill elders I'm not touching. As long as you don't steal my kills, it's all good. What I do have a beef with is when you come up into cycgorge, or whatever camp in this game, with NO MOBS UP, sit there next to me and try to compete with me on pops, and then we're tossing fighting words back and forth to each other like a couple of crybabies and sooner or later it will lead to bringing the GMs into it over who killed what first. All that I ask from those out there who choose to walk this path is to understand where they are at when they log into SoD, to be courteous, like everyone around them, and everyone will have fun, get stuff done faster, we all sleep better knowing we're in the best game around with the best people around.
Now, to the person I snapped at earlier, I do apologise since I was indeed out of line and sort of did start our fussing, but maybe now, if you ever see this, will understand why I spoke up and maybe next time you come to cycgorge, you can either kill stuff I'm not, or simply ask, "may I take some of these elders?" and I will say, "sure, no problem. You take that side, and I'll take this side and good luck."
