SoD and other EQEmu servers?

I've been looking around FAQs for SoD and I'm really interested in playing, but I haven't seen if using the SoD patcher will affect my ability to play on other EQ emulation servers. Right now I'm playing on the Project 1999 server and I'd really like to play SoD as well, but I don't want to mess up my ability to play P1999.

So that wasn't clear at all, my question is: If I download the SoD patcher and run it and play on the SoD servers, will it cause me to not be able to play on other emulation servers?

due to the amount of patching required when you swap back and forth, your best bet is to make two different folders.

also: when doing servers using the eqemu site's login, make sure you use: http://moestaverne.com/module/projects/EQEmuLauncher as it will help ensure you are updated.

yeah, definately do 2 installations, even the client itself is different between the two games.
