Skills are stuck

Im a bard and all of my singing/instrument skills are stuck except for Wind. They have been stuck for 10+ levels at this point.
As soon as I level i can max out wind in a short period of time, but none of the other instrument skills will go up. My
melee skills and defense skills seem to go up normally.

How do i fix this issue?
 
Are you singing songs besides wind.. are you using other instruments.. what are they at now.. etc etc etc

These are the kinds of things that would be helpful in knowing.
 
I actually have this same problem, being a level 21 bard. I petitioned this 2 days ago, I believe, and was told that the Dev who answered didn't know anything that might cause it and that maybe there was just a high skill cap. However, I really don't think so, since my singing hasn't gone up once, except for up to 30 by going to a trainer, since I began playing my bard, despite commonly using songs based around singing. I haven't given much use to instruments, but none of them have gone up either. All skills not related to singing songs seems to be going up as normal. I started this character about 1 week ago, so possibly it is something which is afflicting new characters, depending on when Sage2k made his character.
 
are you guys CERTAIN you're changing the instrument equipped to have an instrument mod for what you want to train in?

when I played my bard before I got his first all instruments mod item, i had to change between is howling blade and mastercrafted lute, etc, in order to practice each instrument.

Yes, I acctually use brass more than anything in my kiting using discord. And I had a normal horn, but currently use a howling blade
My characters name is Lagen if that helps. My brass is stuck at 108 i believe. I dont know what the rest are stuck at offhand.
 
Yeah, I just made my bard and his skills are stuck at the level I started putting points in them (7 and 11) which wasnt so bad at the begining but not that hes level 29 hes lucky to get 50 missed noted before his songs level 20 and above will land :(
 
yeah. i just started playing my own bard again a little bit ago, all his skills except brass are 200 and maxed, and had gotten there before whatever broke, brass didn't go up at all and i was running a lot of brass pulses.

sorry for insisting it couldn't be broken guys, it very much is :(

can't wait for it to be fixed! just glad my bards skills are already high enough :)
 
Np, thank you for looking into the problem :). I'll just stick to raisin up my melee skills and playing other characters till then. If you need a bard Guinea pig to test out things my bard Capriccio is available.
