sk class tome focused hate I and II does nothing

Hi,

me and cvetkaa just tested the tomes focused hate I and II and these tomes still doesn't do anything. They don't add any damage to touches as they are supposed to. Could they please be looked at and made to work?
 
It seems the SK tomes (the pet one is awful and irrelevant as well) will all be revamped at some point, but that may be a long time in the future.
 
Old thread, but this is fixed next patch. It seems there were 2 glaring errors that caused it to ignore anything past the first tome and also it always ended up multiplying damage by 1.

It also now applies to "Harm Touch" now, as per the description. It was only on Improved Harm Touch and Leech Touch before.
 
It appears that there might still be something off on these tomes. I just finished rank 3, and I tested rank 3 while I was doing it. At some percentages I was doing more damage than I do now that I completed the tome. Any idea what may be causing this?
 
Did you zone? Class tomes scale to % done, much like CoP do. What this means is as you are finishing your 3rd tome you will get all of the benefits of your 2nd class tome and a % of the Third. However, once you're 100% done with the 3rd tome, the game acts like you only have the 2nd tome done until you zone.
 
I tested this line of tomes several times after fixing it and made sure to check the math on each one to be sure they were working exactly as intended before I committed anything.

The only way that you could be doing more damage before you finished the tome than you are with it done could be: weather effects, seasonal effects, holy day, night time, mob debuffs, etc
