Weapon augments for jewelers
Why: Compared to other trade-skills jewel crafting lacks behind, Tailoring can make leather and clothe equipment with some super items like mantle of the forest and robe of flowing waters, Blacksmith can do plate and chain armor AND weapons, and has some super great items for priest casters like the searing weapons. Jewelry crafting only has 4 tiers unlike the both mentioned above that has 5. It is clear that jewel-crafting is the less desired trade skill to level up. (items that can be sold for cash)
Proposal: Add the ability for jewelers to add augments for weapons
Augment ideas:
Stats Augments

tier 2= Stat +2, Mana +12, HP +6, AC +2 Components Enchanted Electrum Weapon Encasing + Radiant Crystal Dust + Runepattern
tier 3= Stat +3, Mana +18, HP +9, AC +3 Components Enchanted Gold Weapon Encasing + Black Crystal Dust + Runepattern
tier 4= Stat +4, Mana +24, HP +12, AC +4 Components Enchanted Platinum Weapon Encasing + Rare Crystal Dust + Runepattern
Elemental weapon augments
Tier 1= Fire, Cold, Poison, Disease, Magic = Weapon DMG +1 Components Enchanted Silver Weapon Encasing + Crystal Dust + Runepattern + Permeated Fire Emerald
Tier 2= Fire, Cold, Poison, Disease, Magic = Weapon DMG +2 Components Enchanted Electrum Weapon Encasing + Crystal Dust + Runepattern + Permeated Sapphire
Tier 3= Fire, Cold, Poison, Disease, Magic = Weapon DMG +3 Components Enchanted Gold Weapon Encasing + Crystal Dust + Runepattern + Permeated Ruby
Tier 4= Fire, Cold, Poison, Disease, Magic = Weapon DMG +4 Components Enchanted Platinum Weapon Encasing + Crystal Dust + Runepattern + Permeated Jacinth
New Spells (adds elemental property to the gems)
Permeate Fire = Class Magician, Druid, Wizard
Permeate Cold = Class Magician, Druid, Wizard
Permeate Poison = Class Necromancer, Shaman
Permeate Disease = Class Necromancer, Shaman
Permeate Magic = Class Enchanter, Wizard, Cleric
Hope this idea is simple enough and appealing.
