Silver Crown

I am currently a corporal's rank in silver crown, and cannot advance my rank any further. I have done all of the quests except killing the treants in gfay. Is there any way around messing with my faction or do I have to kill the treants? Are there any other quests available that are not mentioned on the wiki?

no, it isnt.

I did something similar to what Boehm said. I loaded up a Blackscale aligned wizzy and had him blow up the trees for me

The treants quest isn't necessary, though. Or at least, it wasn't when I did that part of Silver Crown on Arianne.

its not necessary at all, maybe you missed some quests or can hand in more of another quest.
