Silver Crown package quest

There's spoilers in this post, but I suppose that's to be expected. I've got some screenshots that I took durring the quest. I'm bad with names, so I always do that so I can find the right person later. I blacked out the OOC, Guild, and Auction text. Just so no one gets annoyed or something.

This quest starts in South Newport in the building by the docks. You talk to Foreman Andrin about a package, and he sends you to Erudin.

Boat to Erudin, talk to whats-her-name, and she sends you to another chick in the woods.

Talk to her, she sends you to a druid.

Druid talks about the package, what it is, blah blah (no screenshot, sorry). And you have the option of what to do. I side with him, and he gives me an idol thing as thanks. Now, I play a Shadow Knight. He's evil, you see. So he uses people any way he can. So, after he gets this idol, he kills the druid anyways, collects the package, and heads back to Newport, stopping on the way to chat with the previously mentioned women in case they have anything else to say. They don't so he's on the boat, and finally back in Newport. Goes up to Foreman Andrin, and...

He won't take the package. Which really sucks. I really wanted those gloves. The Foreman mentioning the gloves was the only reason I completed the quest. I feel like I was cheated just because I roleplayed my character. :(

You need the correct flags to turn in the package, you sided with the druid instead.

If you could side with the druid and turn in the package, absolutely everyone would do that and there'd be no point to having choices in the quest...

Well, hmm. A suggestion, then. Could you remove the package from the druid's inventory after you side with him? It makes little sense to be able to get the package and for Foreman Andrin to just not accept it. I mean, it's what he asked for.

Wish I could do the quest again. Tell me, are the gloves No Drop? I assume they are. That would eliminate the possibility of using an alt. Hmm. Does anything happen after you side with the druid? Is there a follow-up quest? Does the Silver Crown send people after you, or something? Maybe I'm asking too much, but this was a fun little quest.
