I scoured the boards for a topic such as this one (I know how much most board mods hate to see repeat posts :) ) ... but wasn't able to find one!

It seems there's quite a few of us here who are relatively skilled at making custom signature pics, and I'm sure some (like myself) would be more than happy to do some work on a per-request basis should anyone want a signature pic, but are unable to make them by themselves.

So, for anyone wishing to offer their services ... post with some of the work you've done (for this game or others), and let's get some sigs done for more people here!! I love to see more colours on the boards :) (Free of charge, of course!!!)

Please keep in mind, none of the original artwork is mine ... I simply take faces/figures I like, crop them out, and place them on backgrounds I like ... adjusting little stuff like transparency/brightness/colours/etc ...

So, if you'd like one done, and you have an idea of what faces/figures you'd like to use, and/or background, let me know. If you have a preference for colour scheme, let me know. I can try my best to work within what you're looking for! Don't be afraid to ask for one ... once the artwork is gathered, it really only takes 30-40 minutes to put it all together and adjust it nicely.

I know there's gotta be more people out here that are as addicted to PhotoShop as I am :)
 
dude i would hook you up with some serious plat if you did one for me

heres what im thinkin:

a rainbow background, with a dark elf necromancer over it. he has a sweet pink skeleton with greed eyes behind him and hes wearing purple and green robes and has a sweet staff

and it says Zorlaft the Keeper of Rainbows across it in bright sparkly letters


could you do that?

Wow thats some awsome artwork!I would like to take you up on your offer!It would be awsome if you could make one that shows a young male Wood Elf ranger in a dark area.If you are able to please include the name Wataharu,my rangers name, somewhere.Agin if you are able to make it, thank you.If you are not able to make it,thank you still for taking the time to read my n00bish post.

K so far I have a few in the works for you guys ... please keep in mind, they may not be handed-out in the order they are requested ... the more complex you make the request, the longer it will take to find the necessary images.

One thing to note, required information includes:
- Race
- Class
- GENDER (you may think you have a masculine name, Daisey, but the rest of us may confuse you for a female)

Anything else you add to the request (ie, colours, misc images), I will try my hardest to incorporate.

Once your requested artwork is completed, I will send you a Private Message through these forums, directing you to the URL where you can grab it from. I will keep it hosted for 1 week before you will be required to find an alternate home for the signature ( I highly recommend www.villagephotos.com )

upload it to a site like www.villagephotos.com (I'll be removing the picture from the forums soon, you need to find a place to host it)

once uploaded, click on the "Profile" link at the top of the SoD Forums, scroll down to Signature, and using the
tags, paste the new URL.
 
I would love a sig. I have a male Halfling Druid named Namrekca. Maybe have something where half of his face, like around the eye is morphed into a wolf. Cant think of much more I want, but I know I do not want and touchy feely tree-hugger shit.
 
I would like a Sig whit my both 2 toons Latten Human Male Cleric / Aanallain Wood elf bard.

No specific requests, except that it not look bright and colorful. Darker color tones please :)
 
This is really nice of you to do this for people. Props & kudos to you, what a cool way to give something to the community!
 
I'm trying my hardest to get these started/continued/completed :) I seriously wasn't expecting to get as many requests as I have.
Have no fear, though, if you make a request it will get completed!

I appreciate all the patience! Unfortunately (fortunately?) I am only 24 ... I like my Corona's ... and my work buddies have a habit of dragging me out for drinks in the middle of the week! Takes time away from getting this stuff done for all of you.

I just want to re-iterate something here ... the pictures/images/etc that I use in the Signatures are NOT my own ... if you make the request complicated or out of the "ordinary" it will take it that much longer to complete.
If there are specific images you've found that you would like used, feel free to post the link and I'll use it ... this includes screenshots of your toon(s) if you'd like that used.

Did mine in photoshop not too long ago.

Funny, seems that lots of people like to take that Guild Wars necro chick and use her in sigs :p
 
Your sigs are great!!!!

If I may, I would like to add a request. By the looks of what you have put together I totally trust w/e images you use but one note, I am an Erudite Wiz so the GW necro chick wont fly ;-P

I am a bit more....um....tan.

I hate everybody and all colors by default so do what you think looks good!
I also am not a fan of the erudite dome head so I wont be giving ya screenies.

This is a really awesome thing you are doing for the community and I know its appreciated by myself and others.
