should i come back?

  1. Taru and I play WoW pretty seriously nowadays.
  2. Nadox will sit untouched and unloved as we just really don't care anymore. Besides, I have all 7 boss kills you have, and I've gotten the 8th boss to lower health than you (79%). Thus, I'm currently winning Nadox.
  3. Tarutao still plays here some with FWF, but he's mostly out of stuff to do unless they deign to ever take him to 6man content.
  4. I don't have the time to advance Cless to the point where I could help FWF progress. Except for From Accounting and goofing with Thade, there's no guild I'd consider worth my time to play with. Also, if I played with Thade, I'd probably just do it on WoW.
  5. Lots of the people you played with who didn't suck are in FWF now. You know what that means, so I won't go into that here. You other suckers reading this can come to your own conclusions about what I mean.

Well, for most people, my quick answer is "of course you should".

For you very specifically, Cless makes some good points, but he's missing out on the point that getting back in the swing of things now might result in getting to be part of raiding the new Thazeran's Tower that will hopefully be soon! The little pieces of I've seen of it are pretty exciting, and I'm sure he'd enjoy the content.

Hence, despite our Nadox funtimes probably not being relivable for a while yet, I'd say "yeah, you should come back".

You're not very good at subtlety or strategy, so I guess this post makes sense. Heck, you probably think I was trying to NOT convince him to come back. Sillly gnome. Maybe you should read Sun Tzu's The Art of War after Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game.

After seeing The Golden Compass, Bicentennial Man, Stardust, Dune, itchhikers Guide to the Galazy, the league of extraordinary gentleman, starship troopers and I am Legend.......

I am not so excited about the movie of *any* science fiction book.

BUT! Enders Game is an amazing read and if you like only it and not the awesome sequels then you are horrible and should feel bad.

Books 2-4 get all existential and alien, so I can understand people not liking them. However, there's no excuse for not then reading Ender's Shadow and Ender in Exile. Of course, you pretty much want to have read the first 8 books to really understand Ender in Exile, but if you have, then you absolutely must read Shadows in Flight.

I've read every book he's made on the series so far. the last of "enders" story, Xenocide i think its called been awhile was my favorite. Those books really really make you think hard about some stuff and thats what i really enjoyed about them!

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa, the newer Dune and Children of Dune movies were pretty damn good, even if they did kinda mash Dune Messiah in there with Children.

The Inama Nushif sequence gives me chills no woman can match.

EDIT: Also holy shit

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVER

I actually enjoyed Stardust, Starship Troopers, and I Am Legend. I understand the 'I read the book, and it didn't stand up to the book!', but these were decent/fun movies in their own rights.

FYI - I think that The Green Mile are the only books I have ever read where I thought the movie even came close to doing justice. Now I kind of unlink the movies and books in my head prior to seeing the movies.
