Shards of Dalaya on Crossover

Dalayan Beginner
I have a MacBook Pro and am trying to get Shards of Dalaya running on it with Mac OS X Leopard and the latest Crossover. Has anyone done this, if so, can you make a step-by-step guide for me please? I have all the necessary files.

I got the patcher to work, but it stops at "Patching Finished" with the loading bar all the way. Any ideas?

I got that to work also, but now when it's done, it show a window that says," Falied to load the graphics DLL!"

Help?

i didnt even think you could play on a Mac because you have to download .NET Framework version 1.1. and im like 80% sure that it dont work with a mac.

but i dont know anything about computers. maybe someone can back me up on this ;p

I actually downloaded .NET Framework 1.1 with Crossover and it worked. I think I may be missing some files, so doing a complete redo and try to see what I can do. I will update this for other Mac enthusiasts!

I GOT IT TO WORK FLAWLESSLY!

It works after I repatched everything using the official SOE patcher. Wow. Works great, no need to buy windows. :haw:

Have you tried it on Crossover Games 7, it scrambles the screen for some reason.
I'll try that .NET download 1.1. *crosses fingers*

I've got Crossover 6.2.1 on both a MacMini and a MacBook Pro, .NET would not install and so I do not have it, but I'm running SoD and here's how.

I hope you can get a bottle, C:, and load all of the titanium files in there, Next get the latest patch file and manually ad it over the titanium stuff in C: (If you haven't gotten this far let me know)

With Crossover open, the toolbar, Programs, you want the Run command. Make sure it has the right bottle selected and browse for your "eqgame.exe" file. Than after that last quotation mark, type the word patchme

It should look like this "C:/path/eqgame.exe" patchme

then click the run button. The game will start but you will not see the SoD patcher, it will go strait to the EULA. Message me if you get stuck

I'm trying to get SoD running on my wife's Intel iMac.

Using Crossover Games 7, I can get to the character selection screen, but when I log in, it gets stuck on the loading screen. Also, the mouse cursor is very laggy on the character selection screen.

I haven't installed .Net or anything. I created a bottle and then copied my Game folder right from my PC laptop into her Program Files in her Bottle.

Any ideas? Life would be good if I could get her playing with me... ;)
