Shamans ancient haste

Would it be possible to up shamans ancient haste from 50% to 60 or at least 55?
This spell when compared to other classes ancients is pretty icky.

Seems like you're probably going to have to lay out your argument a little better than that if you want to get taken seriously. Exact examples of how it's relatively icky, at the very least. Not saying you won't, i'm obviously not on the staff, but it's just been what i've seen on these boards.

What classes are you comparing it to?

I know its not the cleric ancient: Fatebind
Probably not the enchanter ones either

I could see an argument to up the haste to like speed of the wind, considering thats better but using the excuse that its icky is pretty weak.

Getting a raidwide? haste is pretty nice unless your some buffing-masochist who wants to cast single target haste on every person who hits autoattack as a shaman.

Pretty sure you meant swift like the wind.

And yes, ancients love giving raidwide goodness as their main benefit

Indeed :),

Eitherway the point I was trying to convey is that compared to most of the others this spell is mediocre and in no way icky. Ancient torpor is pretty hot. Theres no doubt some classes get more love then others (druids lol) with ancients.

Shit I cant even remember the last time I saw a bard play mindflayer :(

At first I thought the Ancient haste wasn't really that great. After getting it and raiding a bit, its strenght shrines. if you dont have a enchanter the shaman is the only toon that will haste the entire raid with 1 spell. (minus bard song).

I wouldn't mind seeing something done with SWL only because its duration is horrible for not much more haste. ( 60% vs 50% ).

Now Ancient Slumber..... thiers a Acient that could use some tweaking.

Changing this is going to be a really hard sell because I haven't heard any complaints about this in the 4+ years that ancients have been around.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with ancient slumber at all. Very useful in numerous ways. One of the few spells I always have memmed.

If there are 2 bards in the group (which actually has happened to me more than one would think) I fucking demand mindflayer, for its petproccy goodness.

I can, a bard tossed it when we grouped in RSM recently, I was quite happy with it since not having a wiz around.
But really ancient haste is really nice as it is, it's mass celerity that's all. Now maybe Swift like the Wind could see his duration upped cause it's already only single tartable, it doesn't need 2 drawbacks imo.

Ancient haste is awesome. Being a shaman, without ancient haste, in a group or raid with no enchanter sucks ass. Casting SLTW every 2 minutes on everyone is some form of torture.

Slumber is a great spell but has some stacking issues that need to be fixed.

The only thing I've ever seen it not stack with is Platemail illusion.
