After getting the final athame i went to Greenmist and clicked on the book which summoned Spirit of Jirryik:

Spirit of Jirryik says, You have done this task as well, with skill and care. I begin to think that Tylazik's trust in you was well placed.

Listen now. With this Athame, we can destroy the link between Yaralith and the chaotic matter that feeds his power, but we cannot possibly get close enough to do so - the very power of Yaralith himself will repel us. We must use one he trusts.

Use whatever friends or means you have available, and charm Yaralith's most trusted servant - his Hand - so that his allegiances change. Give the Athame to the Hand, and instruct him how to use it. Through his treachery, we can overcome the sleeping one.

At this point I got Nemmy (enchanter) to come with me to Hidden Temple of Yaralith. We kept killing anointed till finally The Hand of Yaralith popped.
Then i got Nemmy to charm The Hand of Yaralith with Dictate. I con'ed him and he was indifferent to me i handed him the ( Pulsating Athame) but i got this message instead:

The Hand of Yaralith returned Pulsating Atahem to you. :censored:

Im just wondering if this needs to be looked at or possibly fixed?

It was recently changed (I believe) that charming or sneak/hiding no longer could be used to do hand ins if you were KoS without their aid. So, I guess you're pooched until someone looks into it.

the above text is direct from the quest npc. He tells you to charm The Hand of Yaralith.
