Shaman charm ?

Is there something I am missing about this spell? Shamans get a charm when they get a pet. Not only that, but they never get an upgrade to it. Is it really pointless or am I missing something?

Since shaman pets aren't that great, charm is actually a decent thing to have, even if it's just ten odd levels. I found it actually quite useful.

I used it alot leveling.

I find my shammy pet very useful, he actually tanks well for a pet and lands hits on regular basis. Great DoT.
