Shadowknight Styles

I was just wondering if Shadowknight style could get a loot at and/or revision. The current styles, while useful in the right situation, seem to be lacking. Our one useful tanking style Loathing Guard which adds to our avoidance, only lasts for about 16 seconds. Our semi-anit-caster Dismissive Strike which adds a chance to interupt an NPC (I don't think it works on 54+[or whatever the level is] NPCs, and adds a dispell proc that seldom goes off. Our agro style Seething Fury (iirc, I don't use it) adds minor agro to our melee strikes, which seems redundant, as SK's dont rely on melee strikes for agro. Leaching Hand is pretty good in a tight, tight pinch (read, fucked up heal), but only if you can pop out a quick Lifetap, or HT/Spears are up. Terror Guard is fantastic, and doesn't need looked at imo.

Some suggestions:
Change Seething Fury to an increase in melee damage to anything NOT flagged mindless/undead with moderate/high stamina useage.
Change Dismissive Strike to include 54+mobs (ie interupt all) change dispell proc to group mana tap. Low Stamina useage, but keep proc rate.
Change Loathing Guards stamina useage to not be so harsh.
Leaching Hand is good as is.
Terror Guard is perfect as is.

Just a few suggestions, but mainly wanted the Devs to know that SK styles basically suck.

Any input from other Shadowknights would rock.

EDIT: Actually, Loathing Guard is about equal to Unyielding and uses 4x the stamina. Zuh?

I'll change this somewhat.

Lowered passive_cost from 16 to 5. I hope that should help.

Zodium said that I should point out that the SK style is avoidance, which is a good deal weaker than Unyielding's absorption vs boss raids mobs, before anyone comes in and claims that I just made warriors useless.

Most people won't understand the difference, to be blunt.

The difference is very simple. Avoidance tanking is worse against mobs that hit for tons because with 20% absorption you always take 20% less, whereas with avoidance you can take spikes of full damage, which can kill you.

That's why warriors will always be the best tanks, this was just a seriously needed tweak and I have no idea why it costed 16.

That should give people a bit of an idea how it works.
I was considering writing some things on mitigation, avoidance, and the effects of both with different kinds of mobs.
Maybe if I get time this weekend. Might help people understand the differences more thoroughly.

This is a good change, yea Loathing Guard never got used (I even took it off my macro list because it sucked stamina so fast it was useless). Seething Fury...well its an agro generation style on a class that gets tons of agro generation from spells (debuffs, specific hate generation spells in the Terror line, AA hate generation spell, Voice line, etc.), not to mention taunt, agro from damage spells and regular melee. So yea a style that generates agro off of melee hits seems just a little bit redundant.
