Server Side Latency Issue in RSM

At a very specific location in RSM the left-most number on latency goes absolutely nuts, constantly modulating between 150-250 extremely rapidly. I have major issues casting spells, opening doors, sending tells, etc. It often makes me disconnect straight to server select.

This only happens around the castle near Emberlord. It is reproducable, happens across multiple toons, while boxing, while not boxing, etc. I have not experience it anywhere else in SoD, including elsewhere in the zone, in 3+ years of playing.

Any workarounds/fixes/similar experiences? "Don't go there," while workable, Isn't exactly what I'm looking for.

I have not found a way around it, and I had spent a significant amount of time farming the nameds in RSM. Everyone else I have talked to experiences the same issue, I think it might have something to do with the door that you have to open.

I always found it hit right after you crossed the lava heading in that direction, and the pl hits a couple min afterwards. I always just invised, got to where I was going, and refreshed before I did anything to compensate for it rather than having it hit mid fight.

Hrm, I've tried RFin in the damned castle and it still hits me right in the face immediately upon logging in. Bummer.

Unfortunately this is my strategy.

I've read some other threads about it and nobody seems to have made any headway with avoiding this issue.
