Hi there!
I m currently experimenting some troubles with raids. I play with a good old RTC modem, 56kbits. With no filters at all, even if i don't see the other player hits/casts, i guess i receive them, each time a raid fight starts, i lose half of the packets (at least).
I had ADSL till the end of july, but since i moved to my new home, i don't have it anymore and don't expect to have it really soon.
I m suggesting some kind of server side filter, why not a client /Raid on/off command that could kill all hits/crits (if not castings) server side, before they are sent to the client. This is certainly an heavy thing to implement, but it would have a beneficial effects for much of us since i m not the only one who has such troubles during raids.
If its not possible to have such a command linked directly to the client, why not then a global command modify the server's behaviour by stopping it to send hit/crits messages ?
