Server Down?

It's a few minutes after 11pm central time, Saturday night, Nov 19th.
Server went down.

It's quite possible. And the lag experienced from it may be the reason it is not showing up on server select.

I think the major question for me atleast is that "is everyone experiencing not being able to log onto the server right now or is this problem isolated on my machine?"

Players should make the habit to be in irc://www.shardsofdalaya.com:6667/sod* if they wish to know the true state of the server and to see if any GM can assist an inportant(exploit) petition. As always DON'T ask for an ETA as they are working as fast as they care to for us! :hug:

Some reason IRC hasnt worked for me for the past couple days. I use both trillian and mirc and get the same thing. I connect and it just sits there as if no commands are being entered. I can connect to other servers and do stuff on the other hand.

I havent been able to get chatzilla or mirc to work for about 3 weeks now. So I wont be able to see whats going on either. Hopefully someone can post on the boards and let the ones of us that eitehr dont have irc or have technical difficulties know what is going on. Thanks

Ohh good, so I'm not the only one not able to connect to the IRC server then. Been trying for a couple days now...

I remember when I played on live...well when there was a patch, you could always complain like hell but you waited like 5 to 10 hours, that was crazy. One of the thing that make me crazy about SoD is that you won't find lower downtimes, the staff is working a lot on it , patch messages never exceed 1 r 2 hours, and well after big changes it is rather normal there are some reboots. Don't worry , if it's broken it's being fixed. BTW, good job to the staf with all the latest additios you rule !
