Server down?

Anyone have any idea what is up with the server? i keep trying to log on and i get to the server select screen and it says there are 59 people playing and i click enter world and it keeps saying world is down. Any idea what the problem is?

When I asked in IRC about an hour ago, was told yes the server is down..
