selecting mobs

i was just curious if its possible to change how the selecting a monster works.. why say what it is and tell us how to con it? dont understand why sony did that. why not just have it con it when we select it? some may think thatd cause a lil bit of a mess in the chat but i feel that since it already puts 2 lines of crap why not make it useful? was just curious if this may be possible to change. think itd be kinda nice.
 
Actually, there is a way to remove that spam (the 2 lines of text saying you selected a mob and giving some instructions to how to con).

To do so, hit Alt+O, and on the first tab (that appears as selected) go to the left column of buttons and look for something like "Display info upon selection". I really can't remember what the button said, and can't log right now to check for yourself, but it won't be difficult to find. The button should be unclicked (and the letters in white) for the spam to stop.
