I want to start by saying this is not an invitation to get a spoiler for a quest. And i am sure none of the devs would appreciate that. That being said, if you have legitimate reason to believe something is broken, please post what it is, and reasoning behind it.
Ebonblade. Thinkmeats originally designed, and of the 3 final pieces required only 2 were ever found, now one is completely removed because of the changes that occured to First ruins - see erudian ebon, a quest peice i still have on a few chars that used to drop in FR off the blacksmith, in the very bottom. I assume the metal is asked for (name evades me) was originally dropped somewhere, but after 3 years of never being found it either doesn't exist, or jsut isn't obvious enough for anyone to find. Please put ebon in and check up on the metal asked for (see gorun ebonblade in south newport) for players interested in maybe solving the mysterious metal he's behind the smith/jeweler house in their back yard. No spoilers on locations please.
Monk Grobb newbie quests. The start of these quests gains a monk a set of armor, which eventually ends with chestwraps of balance, with the initial monk GM. This quest has been broken for a long time, and was broken when the Blackscale faction was changed from being a grobb city sub-faction (monks/necros) to a allignment based main faction. After the chestwraps are attained the player is not able to gain more faction with his guild so he cannot move onto what i would assume by standard newbie quest format to be a lowbie weapon. Vial of froglok poison drops off the named monk froglok in mielb, a no drop item with monk class listed but seemingly no use. I imagine these are related, please fix this, or make my gm stop talking to me about attaining a chestwrap i already have in my bank.
A dagger, from a dude in freeport at docks. I forget this things name, and i will edit this post if anyone remembers this. It was supposed to be cool, and rogues can get about 20 hours into it before they realise it was a waste of time. I did this. Cyzaine made a post at one point in time assuming to take responsibility and get this fixed or removed, neither was ever done, or the script is broken and not updated.
Oh YAY! Whisperling forest shadow event (not to be confused with vale neck 2) This starts with a halfling scout, and because of it's neat items i'm not going to give away infos. But is this supposed to ever end? It doesn't end until the sun rises, which may be intended, but who knows! i'd do this more if after surviving 5 hours of horrible exp i had a 100% chance of getting a greater shadow or something, but no dice.
WTF is the "a goblin overseer" in the vah starting city tpit. It's a blue con trackable from the north side, but with INTENSIVE investigation it appears to be at the bottom of the zone, and entirely unusable. I finished the vah newbies quests on 2 separate characters and never saw any continuity of vah quests (bearing in mind i NEVER did the total "vah" quest, but i assume for what i think are obvious reasons he shouldn't be related to that) , and it appears to be the only thing down in the pit.
I have not checked all the newbie quests from all the cities, but i assume there are other issues as these were put out all in a small time frame, update with frustrations for early levels and various tiers!
Also, City of Mercy Cultist Vira, dancer's tambourine, seriously is this STILL broken? I've given this chick at least 10 of these over the past year hoping it would get fixed. Sigh.
Also City of Mercy, was Cyzaines Althunna engage script ever added? cause the damn divine dudes are popping up around the pyramids randomly, and they don't appear to do anything at all but rape poor lowbies doing the aug quest :/ Last i checked these aggro'd sworn players.
Also City of Mercy PLEASE FIX Judge's trigger "Prison Release Switch" so it repops, or make the alternative method of activating more obvious. I've progressed through this zone from start to thanes with 2 separate guilds and we never found a way, including killen all the criminals.
