Hi,

I was checking my post list and found a threat from way back with GoTW (the guild I played with) rooster and would like to know if anyone (besides Wiz and other GMs) are still in game.

So, if you recognize a char you used to play in this list, please reply so we can meet and remember the old times :)

If you're a member of GoTW, please reply to this thread with all your characters in GoTW. We need to get a roster of active members.

PS: Checked some in fomelo... many deleted, some still vl60 (max at that time). Not sure if I will find anyone. Well, a 3 and half year break isn´t really a little one....
 
A couple of those characters are still around, but I don't think any of them belong to the origional owner.

I played Wiggles / Zhak ( monk )..

first monk on server with the rymaz baton.. second monk with cil fist.. i remember when chopper took the first one

I'm an incredibly old school player, I think I'm the oldest active player, I raided with everyone involved on the gotw list, man it brings back some memories... first ToT puller etc.. welcome back bud

Seeing this roster is from the lvl60 cap it must be daaaamn old :p

Well, many things to catch up :)

There wasn´t need for food, no tradeskilling, no Companion Focus Items (no assistance penalty, only level limited spells were the DS - Aego on a lvl 1 :haw:) . And, most important, no login bug due to bags from what I´ve heard!

Shards of Dalaya is way more complete nowadays, looking fun to play again.

Hey Zhak, talking about 1st, I got the 1st relic pet, at that time called Ancient: Manifest Elements and was with GoTW when we first killed Ancient Deepfiend to go to Tower and also at the 1st Rymaz kill (I got the crown :keke: ).

If I remember correctly, wasn´t you from the other guild of that time? The one that was evil and went Giant faction while we were Dragon (I quit after GoTW had changed to giant faction too)?

Looks like I have like 670AA to go to get you... and one level, still 64, havent made 65 yet.

Noktar, I don´t remember you, so it was probably after I left. We didn´t had many mages at that time.

I still remember some amazing events that Wiz and other GMs used to run and thats why I came back.

Man I could've sworn that Arne had the first relic mage pet... Would make since Colt didn't win the first crown since he took the Bp and ytraz piece.. Were you around for much of potorment? The Musklh kill where zinaire and brandy kited him around and we won off a cleric killshot was basically the greatest thing ever.

Back in the day I was exclusively in GotW.

God damn we're old, I remember all of these things pretty fondly. I wanted that Rymaz kill so bad, haha.

How's it going Almor? Melwin's still around on the internet and stuff, he just isn't active with SoD. He's quite active with DT, however.

Also, I was actively playing Satrak during GotW. It was renamed to Dakin, to be paired with Dakim.
 
Liam, I remember well Satrak.

I also remember when we started raiding while Wiz was on vacation (with Coltaine leading) and when Wiz got back he said the the DPS of the mobs we killed was too low and that he would rebalance the encounters since they we re too easy :keke:
I remember our nice Thomas, dead wizard extraordinaire, that somehow managed to die in almost every raid mob we did....


Everything is fine with me, its good to be back in action. My son is 3 years old now, so I have more time and a new companion while I play (I left when my wife was pregnant and needed more attention - it got hard to work 10-12 hours a day, help her and play...)

About Potorment, i believe I only went there once. I was already kinda away when GoTW started going there.

Homogen, there was, at least for some time, another guild in WR. Can´t remember the name, but they had a nice rooster and started to give GoTW a decent opposition.

I think Linken was renamed Jordail then renamed Jord and then renamed whatever Haze renamed him, if I'm not way off?

And aren't you missing Nazul/Nezul on your roster?
 
That rooster is from a Wiz post at August 17, 2003. I remember Nazu/Nezul from some raids, not sure why they´re not there.
