scroll out view with mouse wheel

I really like being able to scroll out with the use of the mouse wheel to go from 1st person and 3rd person. What i would like to see (if it isn't already possible, if it is someone please enlighten me on how to do it) is to be able to swing around ur character while out in the 3rd person. I know if u hold right click your character moves left and right. Maybe make holding left click will allow your character to eb stationary and just have the camera swing around. Just a thought. Let me know if this is possible at all (coding wise) or if you already can do it. Thanks =)

Jesus is in the options menu? Sweet I dont have to go to church on Sundays anymore!

Your failure to understand the meaning of a comma boarders on direct illiteracy.

I have no problems scrolling in and out with my mouse wheel, and I didn't do anything. Must be magic!

ok maybe people took my post wrong...

yes i know you can use f9 to change ur views so u can rotate the camera... what i was trying to say can it be possible with out using f9 with jus the mouse wheel. aka hold right mouse to face character lefta nd right and hold left mouse click to move camera

Who wants overhead view anyway? A few people that I raid with look at the wall or ground while on raids just because of the lag issues in regards to either bandwidth, or video lag (bandwidth on the user's side, not the server). I couldn't imagine having the chase cam mode on...especially on raids and other tight places.

As an enchanter, Overhead view is my best friend when there are several adds - makes targetting so much easier. Also use it in the badlands currently - stoopid Hill Giants.

Most classes that aren't concerned with adds prob don't have much of a use for it unless trying to watch their back. I used to love panning around watching for adds and hit them with mez right when they just start to aggro on the group.

yea i agree, tight areas arn't the best spots to use it but its fun to use in wide open areas.. badlands being one of them. and plus for enchanter classes esp. targeting becomes easier being able to see the whole battle from over head instead of just 1st person.

the 3rd person views have a host of uses, melee or caster. It is a great too in FD splitting mobs in open spaces (IE Kael on the way to vindi...old school I know). Helps with crowd control, keeping an eye open for Adds or if tanking multi's and someone over aggros. Also sitting in a camp and waiting for spawn, if they aren't all in the same direction. I'm almost always in 3rd person driver view when traveling in open zones. The different views are a great utility, and the list could keep going.
