The problem is I can't Equip it in Secondary =(

Most likely just a mishap on the item design and it was never intended to have Secondary on it. I know it has happened a time or two on 1h weapons for non-dual wielding classes.
 
I know Tyrone but non of the classes listed have dual wield skill so everyone figured damage stats would just be irrelavant. Didn't think about getting stuck with a lemon =)

It does have secondary on it and non have dual wield skill.
 
Pretty much they could make it secondary equippable and it would lose it's dmg/ratio which doesn't seem like much of a fair trade off

Well for versatile sake maybe but i'm pretty sure it's intended the way it is

Agree, maybe substitue dmg/ratio with some AC?
 
It could go either way really.

The item could be turned into a "wand," removed dmy/dly and 1hb.
or
The item could have secondary removed.

More then likely, the item was intended to go in your main hand as it is both listed as a 1hb and has a dmg/dly. Although a change for it to be offhand equipable would be nice.
 
Wouldn't mind it being made a "wand" as long as I can equip it in the secondary slot witch was intention when looted.
 
Whats the official word on this item?Primary only or will it get patched to match the Primary/Secondary tag it has?
 
It very clearly has a damage and delay which fit the bill of an upper level pure caster weapon. That should have made it pretty obvious to anyone looting. If you dont learn in 65 levels + AAs that casters cant duel wield... well... :(

Well the Damage/ratio is not the first thing you look at in an item when your a caster, how ever were you can equip it sure is. Besides its not caster only. Also when I look at a link who am I to say I won't be able to equip it in the secondary slot when it CLEARLY says secondary.

How about you add something constructive instead of just trolling without saying anything useful.

All I'm asking is for a ruling, if it can't be made a wand then at least let me pass it off to a guildie that was there and WILL use it. Cause looting this to have it bagged cause of a mistake doesn't make any sense.
 
Do I come across as a troll? I have no grudge against you at all. I'm just trying to give my opinion that looting an item without noticing damage / delay is exactly the same as looting an item without your race/class on it, or looting an item on the wrong char (if you two box). Neither of those examples are righted by staff.

The idea that because there is a typo in primary/secondary you deserve a reimbursement to another member present at raid is plausible though, and I would go with that if I were in your shoes :toot:
