Scent of Terris

This thread is about stacking issues of the two spells "Scent of Terris" (NEC) and "Archaic: Tarhyl's Raging Curse" (DRU).

Scent of Terris is probably one of the best spells Necros ever get, it debuffs a necros main resist types, stacks with Malo and Mala. However, it doesn't stack with the druid archaic (gets overwritten) which is without a doubt the far superior debuff but since we don't have any other means to debuff a mobs resists (especially PR/DR) I don't feel this is right. I brought this up with Woldaff some time ago and he was gonna check it but I didn't hear back so I thought I might just make a little post to bring this to peoples attention.

I'd either like it fixed or at least an official word that they aren't supposed to stack (which seems a bit unreasonable to me). Not being able to debuff a mobs PR/DR makes me kinda sad, it can get a problem in places where spells can get resist a lot (later ToT comes to mind).

Not sure how debuff slots work, but if they could work as slow, aka they can all land without overwriting another but only keep the biggest debuff ( aka we would have druid fire resist debuff, and nec pr + disease resist debuff work together) .

I think resist debuffs work differently, and that is why it gets overwritten (since several resist debuff spells/songs do indeed stack). However, if its fixable, and they could stack, but have the higher resist debuff work, then that would be great. If not, then maybe having the fire debuff component removed for a cold debuff would be the way to go (since the fire debuff stacking is the issue). I guess there should be some progression as far as debuffs are concerned, but when that progression is crossed over between multiple classes, then it really does not make sense. Being able to reliably use Scent at archaic tiered raids would be helpful to necros and shamans alike.

You get scent at a level where cold doesn't matter all that much. And not like Claws of the Chill needs much resist adjust help. Fire is priceless whatever the level you are though. Scent could stay as is but yeah basically what I suggested, slow-like management it could remain as is but stacks with Tarhyl's curse & co. , with Fire debuff not added but just kept at druid debuff level, then it would be golden.

Right, I was only suggesting it get changed to cold instead if there is no way to make the druid archaic and Scent stack. The fire debuff will always be good, but having it not stack at all makes it horrible in the super high end, which I believe doesn't make sense at all.
