Sandjaw engage Summon

I understand that adept need to have a summon to prevent stupid tactics like kiting, but here's the problem/bug I am running into when it comes to being summoned by adepts, Sandjaw in particular.

When the tank (myself) engages Sandjaw, he summons, which is expected.

What is not expected is that where you get summoned to is the exact center of the mob, which means that you suddenly start getting the "Cannot see Target" message no matter which way you face. Now under normal circumstances this wouldn't be much of a problem, happened with Goretusk, just move away, still in melee but could then start attacking.

But with Sandjaw, he immediately procs a root and proceeds to beat you down, all the while you get the "Cannot see target" message, and as a the tank not being able to see the target means you can't build aggro or defend yourself.

This has happened every time I have engaged him. Summoned to center "cannot see target" > Rooted > continue to not see target and not building aggro until it go after someone else, which by then I cannot pull aggro back.

I propose that summon be changed to bring target only within melee range, not to center of mob where every direction you face gives the "Cannot see Target" message.

If that always happening to you, just have some other random person run in and have the tank run in second. Seems like a easy solution.

Or, you know, maybe get some magic resist gear and buffs?

I don't know the specific encounter, so maybe he does just summon on engage, but it sounds like you might be pulling with a bow or something. Mobs that summon usually wont summon until they're below 98% hp or so if you're outside a certain range from the mob. Tried melee'ing to engage?

I havne't done this guy in a couple years, but iirc even if he does summon you to the middle of him if you play around with angles you can hit him.

i'm pretty sure you can invis and set up around sandjaw, therefore instead of moving to him and getting summoned just stand in front and auto attack. shouldn't be a summon at that point iirc.
