Since I started playing a little more this month, I have noticed that my group suffers assistance penalties randomly in Citadel while exping. I think I have linked this penalty to using my Runic Veil, but I am still quite not sure. When I use my Runic, sometimes we get assistance penalties (no one else is feigning death) and sometimes we get no penalties.

Is this something people have experienced in Citadel recently, or have other people seen these same results using Runic Veil in other zones? I am trying to figure out this mystery and it is "bugging" me.

SoD has become self aware... maintaining balance. Next up -- SKs subject to a 5% penalty on all /splits and fewer bank slots.
 
I've never noticed that, what i have noticed multiple times in multiple scenarios, It just flat doesn't work, for instance the DEs and there adds in MB wing, Pop it have Nwaij PBAEing Kimb AE Doting/Procing Galeforce a monk WWing and a Cleric ghealing and they just completely ignore me. an odd thing i have noticed is say on roll master pop it after pulled they ignore me, when it fades they B-Line for me for a split second then peel right back off on whoever got it.
 
never seen assistance penalties or what draeos is describing, but maybe it got broken along the way. it seemed to work amazingly well back when i played vers.
 
Yep, I never had any issues with it until I started playing again this month. I have also noticed what Draeos described, but I thought maybe I was just unlucky. Sometimes when I pop it a wizard of necro in my group will still get aggro even while Veil is still going. I think Bango must be right!
