Runeprinted Leather Straps and Molds

I know this forum is typically used for higher-end items, but as I am starting fresh on SoD again I am in search for Runeprinted Leather Straps and the molds to do the Wyvernfang armor quests.

If you have any at all please let me know either on the forum or in-game and how much you will sell them for (I am unsure what the going rate is). I am trying to gear a druid and monk so need quite a few of them.

Thanks in advance!

Greetings Kosu,

First I would say that that quest gear is somewhat outdated, and depending on how you prefer to play to get enjoyment from the game, you might be smart to look for other avenues.

Recently, The Overgrowth was opened up (a zone off of underhill). These mushroom men drop Sproutari Boots and other gear that is more/less powerful depending on the item slot. I do not know how much this vendors for, but I bet you can find some nice adventurers in Overgrowth to save you a few pieces. I'd recommend doing a /who all Overgrowth from time to time and just ask. Most people enjoy helping new players because we need more players!

Secondly, there are a lot of player made weapons that are really powerful, especially for low level monks like yourself (Mithril Knuckles and Mithril Ulak. When you grow out of these and save enough cash, there are warpmetal and ghostmetal versions that are significant upgrades.

You can use Vendor List (cross reference it with the in game system for prices) to find what people are selling. You might find your runeprinted scraps and armor molds this way if you really want them. There should be a Mithril vendor somewhere. I know it used to be Haitch, don't know if it is any longer.

Oh yeah. I hear this zone is way awesome for toons below level 30. Lots of wearable upgrades.

I should probably be working right now, oops.

Thanks so much for the info. I'm 34 now and I was able to get a full set of the Wyvernfang armor and it has helped very much. I will definitely look into your suggestions though!

I see that you are wearing Skulker's Sleeves. Do yourself a favor and get some Skulker's Gloves with +1 bane damage humanoid! It will help you punch for more damage and its something that even high level monks swap in from time to time.

Yeah, I camped Warpstone for about 3-4 hours and got a few peices of the Skulker's, but the gloves never dropped for me. I will have to go back and try again. :)

Thanks again for your tips I greatly appreciate it.
