When I go to turn the hand into Anlir he just gives it back to me.... is there something I'm missing? he is the turn in guy for the hand you get from Meldin, right?
 
Greyson is dubious and cannot do the quest either. I haven't ran across anyone who knows how to raise faction (aside from human illusion/Ambassador's Writ, which I tried both). So, here's to hoping someone posts.
 
The last time I was at the rogue guild in Oggok, the guildmaster gave me a letter of introduction so that I could operate in Newport. Maybe that'll help for the dark elf rogues.
