Rogues and poison

I was wondering are there plans to add poisoning skill to SoD in the future? While I don't play a rogue on SoD I did on live and had the skill and it could be a really awesome ability to use which helped give rogues a bit more utility or dps at times depending upon the poison used. It could help give rogues a boost in dps/utility. Even if you can't do poisoning skill because of coding reasons another feasible alternative would be to start adding some rogue only right click items with moderate cast times on them say 5 to 10 seconds to apply some sorta poison ability like a buff that lasts until it procs once then goes away until you prepare it again. The proc/buff would likely be something moderately useful, but not overpowering. Some might not be worth prepping during fights and others might be worth prepping over and over depending on what they do.

Very good to know I think rogues really need and are lacking it atm at least from what I tend to hear from other players because as is there dps is nearly the same a monks perhaps a tiny bit higher overall, but not by very much and they lose mend/feign and the ability to tank decently. Personally since I'm fond of rogues from live I still prefer them over monks even if they are nearly the same dps wise w/o all the extra perks unless the group actually needs a split puller in which case the monk is the obvious choice. I'm not certain how others would feel about this idea, but it'd be nice if rogues had a poison they could prepare out of combat only that took say 15 second and a stronger version that took 30 seconds to prepare that gave a 5 and 10 second guaranteed poison based stun hit/backstabb proc that faded after it's first proc. It might even drain stanima perhaps to prep it 50% of it for the weaker version and 100% of it for the strong version. I think it could really add to the class if it's do able in the first place once poisoning goes into effect. A 5 to 10 second stun that's probably around 95% chance of not being resisted would be rather nice at the start of a fight to have around to help other classes tash/malo/slow/mez stuff. It would bring a little added utility to the rogue class.

Perhaps before suggesting changes to a class you should actually know something accurate about them...
