Rogue styles?

What is this that I hear about rogue styles? I played on live a couple of years ago and I don't remember anything like that. Are they new to SoD? What exactly are they and are rogues the only class that get styles or something like them?

I couldnt find the post about styles and the wiki had out of date info but when you log in type /s list

it will bring up a list of fighting styles that you gain at certain levels

to use a style type /s #

some styles do not drain stamina some styles do and some will use your stamina until you are in an exausted state which gives some sort of penalty like a slow and you cannot use any other style untill you are no longer exausted.

All classes have some styles. Even Casters have the 3 basics.

1. no style (shut others off)
2. Self haste (at cost of some defense)
3. Defense (at cost of some attack speed)

When you look at the list for your class, you can see that there are some great ones in there. Level 25 rogues get one that ups their accuracy, for instance.

Just remember, this is not the old Live game. Don't expect the same things and you will do better =)

All pure melee, hybrids, and bards get styles here instead of disciplines. Pure casters get balanced, aggressive, and defensive but nothing else.

"/s list" in game will bring up your classes style list, level requirments, and description.

"/s (# of style)" activates that particular style.

For rogues, from memory -

/s 5 is increased dmg and accuracy
/s 6 damages enemy mana and endurance (not sure if it is working or not, or if im expecting it to do more than it does)

/s 9? all hits double damage

those are the main ones I use. when grouped always have /s 2 on for added haste /s 1- /s3 do not use stam, so you can have them on indefinitely.

Crippling style is mostly for raids. 3 or 4 rogues can empty a mob of stamina and mana pretty fast with them all in that style.
