rogue hide skill

was just wondering if the rogue hide skill was ment to not have a message with it.

for example. with sneak it either says you're as quite as a heard of running elephants. or you're as quite as a cat stalking its prey. is it intentional not to have a similar message for hide? just curious.
 
Hide always works, so that would be pretty redundant.

Eh? Is this a rogue-only perk? Other race/class combinations that have hide definately do NOT have a version that always works. You always disapear on your screen - you always *think* you're hiding successfully, but try conning a mob - chances are it's still aware of and pissed at you.

on your screen (and all player screens I think) you do go invis, but that doesnt mean it worked. if you target a mob that doesnt con indifferently, try and hide, and if its not indiff then it didnt work that time. is it intended to never fail as a rogue?
 
You guys don't really need to tell Vero this -- he knows rogues.

I think he just meant for high level hide and has forgotten the low levels.
 
You get a message for Sneak's success like 95% of the times (if you click it right after hide, sometimes it won't).

Hide gives no message so far, only when evading (for non-rogues, hiding when in combat).
