I just finished the Rod of Living Fire quest and overall I'm pretty happy with the item except for the effect.
It's a self 8pts DS that can stack with other DS (At least the relic mage one), which is kind of useless for a caster. When I saw the name of the effect I thought it would be a focus Fire DD or maybe something like Searfire.
The stats on the items are very nice, considering the quest takes time (Red Dragon scales...) but is mostly doable by one solid group, but I'd really like to see an useful effect on it.
If you feel that a focus fire or % add critic is overpowered, maybe you could just add some Fire resists to the buff or allow it to be casted on others?
