I stumbled across this item through Fomelo. It struck me how this sounds so silkish with a type3 aug. Is this intended ? it sounds like one of those few ring/earring items that could use a type 5 (tiny crest from the top of my head).

I'd tend to agree (augs are databased on what the item is made of not what the item is called or where it is worn), but it's up to whoever designed the item to be honest.
