Revisiting Alchemy

I have come back to SoD after being away since 2010. I used to do some alchemy with my ogre shaman back then and am trying to get back in the swing of things. I'm a bit confused by the "Tradeskill Window". I don't understand how it is supposed to search or load recipes, perhaps something is missing for it to work? I did figure out to click the "Experiment" button to get back to the old Combine window for the Mortar and Pestle.

I have looked on the Wiki and searched the Forum for info about this but can't seem to find anything on it.

Tradeskill window features are not implemented -- you can turn on the "Open Tradeskill List with Cntrl Right Click" and not have to deal w/ the tradeskill window.
