Reverse Vendors?

I dont know if this is feasible, or if its even worth implementing, but I've noticed a lot of activity in /auc lately and thought it would be cool to have a sort of "inverse vendors" which actually bought stuff. This would be especially useful for tradeskillers, who wouldnt have to spamm auction with stuff they are buying and how much, or leave groups/raids/etc to make transactions. Of course, this would also benefit people who are looking to buy specific items (oops, found a challenge to this in the next paragraph Sad )

I dont know how feasible it is to code, but have it work just like the current vendor system (maybe cheaper? and different vendors/locations). You rent an inverse vendor, and then give it an item that you want (actually, just realized this wouldnt be very effective for specific non-trade skilled items), and tell the price at which you want it and deposit PP into it. Then people could go up and sell to it just like they do regular NPC vendors, except it will only buy the items you specified and at your set price.

Come to think about it, unless someone came up with an innovative way to do this without having the actual item, it would be very hard to do this for say a person who wants to buy a specific item/weapon. But regardless, I think it would help tradeskillers a lot.

Well if we could get a "bazaar" type window (but NOTHING like the bazaar) that lists all the droppable items in a window and sorted through by filters, it could be possible. But then again, with EQ, much isn't really possible.

Would also be nice if the vendors sold the stuff they actually bought off of players. Then you might be able to find batwings and other items one might need without scouring the lands.
