I got this the other day, only because it was going to rot.

Im requesting that the AC be up to like 75 or other stats upped to the level of difficulty it takes to kill.

The mobs that drops Mindward, Decrepid Dragonscale Shield, Phase Ward, J'nozgn's Darksteel Aegis, are easier and the stats are much better than it. Anyway just hoping that this wont end up rotting in my bank.

Since PAL and SHD have parry negated when casting spells isn't that effect nearly worthless on that shield? :) I'm nowhere near the level to get that, but I would agree with a bump in AC and dropping that effect since I assume if they're using a shield they're most likely tanking and therefore casting. That means no parry and riposte right?

Okay it's not totally worthless. I won't exaggerate like that, but it is not as valuable as some added ac.
 
The only place I could see Rev Aegis really shining is with a pally using Guarding Blade style - which lets you parry while casting. Beyond that, it does seem to pale in comparison to some of the others if they are indeed are easier to get.
 
Paladin's Guarding Blade style (which allows you to parry during casting) requires the use of a 2hander.

Well then, let me just take off this here shoe and put a little pepper on my foot.

I just remembered reading the part about being able to parry with it - forgot the part about it being for 2 handers :)
 
Also, the cleric usability on that shield is downright laughable. No cleric would take that unless it was going to rot, and even then it would just be a toy. Ghan shield, epic shield, Rymaz shield, Freeport shield ... all just so much better.

Clerics can't even parry.
