Returning with a problem

About a year ago, I left for Afghanistan and just got back a couple of months ago. Before I left, I had been playing my shaman Icrius, lvl 55 with a few AAs. When I got back I installed the SoD patcher, everything went smoothly, logged into my account (a miracle i remembered my password heh) and to my delight, my froggy shaman was still there as I had left him. However when I attempted to enter the world (I last logged out in King's Pass) the game crashes and an error screen appears saying something along the lines of the zone no longer exists. Can anyone provide me with some assistance? I would really enjoy to get to play my old shaman again. Thank you!

And I quote "EverQuest cannot find the zone file 'highpass' in the directory that you are currently running EverQuest from. Please check and make sure that you do not have more than one directory with EverQuest installed. If so, you may be running it from the wrong directory."

I double checked and the zone file highpass is in the appropriate directory so I am uncertain as to why it is not detecting it being there. Hope the added information helps.

I've read around a little and discovered how to resolve the issue, I just need to replace the current eq zone files with their older versions from titanium, which is going to be the harder part. If there is any other advice to be had, I would be greatful. Thank you.

I've been seeing this a lot lately with people just starting or coming back to the game. Seems to be related to using newer versions of EQ with SoD. But yeah, installing the old Titanium version should work. I know that several versions of the game work nicely with SoD. I would recommend getting/using one of the versions listed here: http://shardsofdalaya.com/intro_starting.htm
Remember to uninstall your current game first.

Thanks, I didnt have to uninstall the old game, I simply made a new file directory that eq titanium would install in then selected that directory from the SoD Patcher file, that way when I do play live eq (which is seldom), I dont have to repatch for 8 hours.
