Returning to Shards! Level 37 Cleric and Level 39 Warrior

Greetings!

I wanted to just say hello to everyone, the names are Arkyian and Naiykra if you may remember them, and I am going to be returning to the server because I have been hearing so many good things about it. Both my characters are naked due to me giving away their equipment before I left, but i'll manage, lol. I was wondering where I could possibly find some equipment to get me started, and work my way back up to current level gear. Not sure what I could take on while naked

Also, I was wondering where is the better places for 40-ish to level? I would rather not two-box, and just play one account so hopefully somewhere with a little population.

Well, your warrior and cleric can do the antique plate quest pretty easily, I imagine. Also, the wyvernfang armor quest materials are often cheap or free from players, and can get you up a bit. Keep an eye out in auction and dalaya's beginners for people offering free patterns, golden metal sheets, or tradeskilled items.

Lots of players mid-30's are still wearing stuff such as vendor plate/chain or leather, and each is generally under a plat. But if you are totally broke, BB drops leather and some chain armor. The warrens drop soft leather, and so does yaralith off of greenmist.

For better, but more rare, such as spectral plate, check out kaladim. Mid 30's they will be db to you I imagine.

Weapons are more complicated. Most halfway decent weapons drop from named mobs you probably won't be able to get at your levels, not without better gear. Start collecting tradeskill ingredients to sell to us desperate tradeskillers. Skins, bloods, silks, etc. You can buy some really decent starting gear with the money from doing that.

Or just farm warrens, SI, or other zones for cash. Nice thing about this game is that you can always make money some way.

At level 37 I have been in eastern badlands and heartlands - it's difficult to find a group but those are good areas. You might also try kaladim, yaralith, kings pass, or just anywhere there might actually be a group.
