Since you cannot (and have not been able to for quite some time) rez in combat, is there any reason why Resurrection type spells do not remove Death Effects? And if the staff deem it acceptable, could this be changed?
It's late, so forgive me if this is stupid, but wouldn't this allow a rezzer to stay out of group or raid and aggro range of mob in order to rez whoever dies, and thus allow some zerging to go on?
Using characters outside of a raid force like that is strictly forbidden though the potential would exist. Changing it as Jose suggested would be a welcome change but there are a couple encounters (like doto) where you can potentially rez between waves. Not sure if the potential increased amount of mana medded back in these situations would effect the encounter enough to necessitate them being tweaked for the change but it should be considered.
While using out of combat rezzers is not allowed, its better not to give people a huge incentive to break the rules by giving them the ability to rez zerg.
