Request to change proc on Breastplate of the Night

Could the proc on http://wr.damital.com/index.php?page=item&id=1492 be changed to Lifespike (preferably) or Scream of Hate or at the VERY least, Siphon Strength? (these are all the same level or lower spells for SK's)

The DoT proc is rather useless by the level that you get that breastplate. Also if the bp procs and something needs to be mezzed, mez will break due to the clinging darkness DoT. Also the proc is no good if you have a druid or ranger that snares the mob.

If I'm single pulling at the level that I would have got this breastplate then I would be dropping Engulfing Darkness or Dooming Darkness on the mob for more aggro if tanking. Clinging Darkness isn't going to stick with either of those applied is it?

I love the bp, but please examine the usefullness of the proc on this bp. Thank you!

Gotcha. Thanks. I hadn't considered the "darkness" proc as part of the lore. I was thinking Breastplate of the Night just sounded like an ominous piece of SK armor. And if the enchanter bites it...oh well. They're used to it. Hehe...
