[Wed Jul 18 14:54:58 2007] You broadcast, 'Are you willing to give out the exact % crit chance on crit AA's? Casters and Melees'
[Wed Jul 18 14:55:36 2007] Admin-Wiz BROADCASTS, 'Well, yeah, sure, but I don't have the numbers on hand, so start a thread asking for them to be added to the AA descriptions or something.'

I suggest that in every AA the actual % is shown for effects. Some already show what you get (Healing AA's, Fear resists etc) and some are vague (Combat agility and many more). I would love to see full disclosure of true numbers for every AA where it is feasible. I think the end result would be that it would help make picking AA's easier.

This seems like a great idea. It sure makes buying AAs a lot easier when you know what you are actually buying instead of interpreting something different then a programmer. Also, when this change is done, can we see that all AAs that increase a % of a skill/ability/spell is currently working appropriately? Latten had said that Item Adept did not seem to be working at the moment.

This isn't the same as raw numbers but an aa I'd like explained more clearly is:

Spell Casting Subtlety: After training in this ability, NPCs will notice your magical activities 5, 10, and 20 percent less

Does this work like an aggro modifier on spells, or does it specifically apply only to when mobs see me casting and run over to try to interrupt me?

That would be great. I was just wondering how much of an increase is given to crits as a result of Combat Fury.

I'd like to remind you guys that we have a rule against pointless bumping. I wouldn't mind seeing exact percentages added either, but don't bump threads unless you have something to contribute to them.

And no, quoting someone else's post without adding additional content to it doesn't count as contributing.

I'd also like to see this, putting in the exact percentages would help if players noticed a discrepancy. With solid percentage numbers they could parse and see if the numbers matched up.

Quite a long time ago crit strike mods on items were broken, a player posted an extremely long set of parses and the numbers didn't even come close to matching up, without a clear cut percentage number on the items to compare the parses to providing this evidence would have been next to impossible. What would you have to compare your parses to? Just a vague "hey this item sort of improves your crit strike, by how much, who knows? :keke:" It also helps a lot when actually choosing your AA's in the beginning when every AA counts.

This has got to be the best reason I have heard to get all of these bits of information put in.

And actually add all the PoP AAs really. None of them has a real description of the effects.

I hope this goes into effect. I had to try to decide between Deadeye and Fury of Ages tonight and didn't have any real numbers to go off of.

How hard would this be to implement? This isn't meant in a rude way I'm just really curious since Wiz wasn't averse to implementing this change during the question night or whatever but we haven't heard a word since.

Is he just extremely busy with Dawntide, it would take a lot of effort, or a mixture of the two?
