Regarding Necro Summons

For Whatever Reason my necro's summon undead spells are failing due to missing the component Ice-Imbued Spellsword... Never seen this before, Tried leaving game and repatching, still has the error. am i missing something?
 
Did some tests - first 3 necro pet spells require the ice-imbued spellsword. I also heard that the enchanter pets are requiring some sort of bauble. Rumors that mage pets are also not working correctly. Heard in IRC about someone buying bone chips from a vendor and getting daggers in return.
 
i too couldnt get it working, ran the patcher, still cant summon, i havn't tried since early this morning, but ill try it again and repost. 20/24 necro summons were all that i tried last night, the enchanter in my group was having the same problem


EDIT, I repatched im 95% sure, but ill try it again as well


EDIT2 Ok, I repatched, Started the game and it appears to be some kind of client issue, i'm using the new patcher, cause i tried my lvl 8-24 necro pets spells and ALL of them have the same Exact error, for those of you that missed it the Error is

"You Lacked the component to cast this spell: Ice-imbued Spellsword"

XP SP3 E6750 Nvidia 9600's 2 gigs of DDR 800

This was caused by the patcher spell file being out of synch with the server's due to an upload error gone unnoticed (not by me!).

Repatch now and it should be fine.
 
its still not working... I think its just the skeletons too cause my friends necro is able to summon spectre's but not the skeleton pets.

Thats why only pets that were present in live were effected. They were made to require regents!

Zaela send me the item numbers and I can just flush them out manually. Not using a few item IDs seems easier than recreating every pet spell in the game =p

Expect for a reboot tom morning US time. I will try to fix this before I head into work.
 
Gimp crashed while I was making diagrams for my class and I ended up spending the time I had put aside to fix this issue recreating everything I lost.

A reboot and a fix will happen when I am home from work around 2:45 PST.
