Gives the message "You must equip a shield in order to bash" when trying to bash with it.
 
Reflective shield is one of those "shields" that doesn't count as a shield for bashing or /shield, block stuff, etc afaik mifster
 
Its a good point an item which is only secondary read not a Noxiious, has some decent AC (not relative to what it drops from I'm well aware of that) and actually called "shield" would be considered as one.

Also does it really not have the blockskill mathematics like regular shields ? is it too glassy to have it ?
 
Yeah, is it really meant to not be a shield despite having shield in its name and in all other ways being a shield? Thats what I was wondering.
 
What does it matter anyway? With 10 ac the block is negligible, and with 10 ac the aggro generated from bash is probably negligible too.
 
Point blank, if you're wearing an offhand with 10 AC and 175 hp/mana and 35 sv vs all, you had better be somebody who isn't worried about being hit in the first place. When I look at Reflective Shield, it pantomimes at me like it's drawing a bow and shooting arrows, and its glassy surface shows phantom images of throwing and joust back-stabbing on a fight where something both WWs and requires massive resists and stun resist. Which at this point is like, what, one fight in the game about two tiers previous, lol? If you're a tank who isn't going to need to be wearing a shield for a fight, you whip out that 2her and git to work.

tl;dr: It's not for tanks. It's for the other people on it.
 
I still bash with a two hander in, I like to bash, I see no reason why this shield can't bash. I dont really care about the block chance.
