Have a formelo that we can see for reference.
Also formelo moraelin, he is only 55 but would still be fairly solid at 65 until the raiding game.

I would get both tmap rings that can click for ds. I think one is 8ac and teh other is 10.
Legplates of command prices have dropped recently or shredded loincloth.

1) Look into getting some warpmetal plate gear cuz it is cheap and will keep you warm til you can afford better.
2) Do the Bonmig newbie plate quest which is expable gear, or do the wyvernfang armor quest if you are desperate and broke.
3) Do the starfall/thurgadin quests if you haven't already, and bear in mind starfall items are expable now.
4) If you are allied with the giant/dragon faction you could pretty easily get the first level of that gear, which isnt great, but it is free and easy.
5) Start grinding VE and E maps, there are a number of items that are better than naked in there for a pally (VEmap ring, Arms, Boots, Range, Waist, Emap ring, Head, Earring).
6) Crawl through the wiki pages for all the 45-60 xp zones (mielech, sorcs, DN, north kaladim, heartlands, etc), you will find a bunch of named mobs that are easy to take down and will drop items that will help you get back to the 60s range gearwise.
Once you have money you can buy better gear as was suggested already in this thread, or you can save your money for a charm and just start burning through T1-T3 raid mobs, they should be pretty easy to make pickup raids for, and you should be able to handle them fairly well after following the suggestions I already listed.
Edit - Oh yeah, Moraelintz was right on the money with the Newport ring suggestion too, definately get that Insignia of Newport.

t3 mob with a naked 64 pally as tank hahha. Maybe t1 with good dps and good healing and that is still a far stretched.
Basically, I would say do Tmaps and try to get your VE qp as it would be good exp, upgradeable loot, and most times you make some money. Just work on the Tmaps till your mind goes numb and most times a ringer with an alt will come to help and the 3 of you can do all those maps easily. Just ringer would like to be able to roll on QP for his/her alt is all. So basically, you get all the spoils, loot and roll on QP.

Man clammie you are such a pessimist. I think for a T3 ish raid he might be able to sneak in on under the radar.
