Im so glad that they are actually considering taking recomendations about the game. I remember a few months after EQ came out I was running through the karanas to go from FP to Qeynos and shouted something about how we needed horses. that running with SoW long distances was lame. I got flamed so hard "YOur stupid, get a friedn to port you." and stuff like that. Well lok at EQ now.... horses. And everyone thinkgs they are sooo kewl. Im just glad there is a method to make sugestions that would make the game more fun. WINTERSROAR IS AWESOME
 
just don't get upset when you find out WR will never have horses :) I heard it from the "horses" mouth...eheh...eheh...BWAHAHAHAH!

You ain't alone brother lol. We have 10 50" TV's going with all the news channels so I get to hear about Michael Jackson and planes being diverted for 12 F'IN hours.

I thought Wiz just said horses wouldn't work like Live (ala mana regen) but would be just for transportation? Or do I need to lay off the bud some rofl!

yes yes...a post from melwin is where I heard it previously. I never could afford one on live anyway, so no loss here :p
 
Let me clarify now that im not totally out of it.

THe point of my post was only to demonstrate how excited I was to see that there actually was a recommendations forum.

My reference to horses in EQ was strictly a reference. WHen EQ one first came out I said on a message board that there should be horses. Everyone yelled at me and said that was a stupid Idea. Years later, tada, horses. I was only saying I wish EQ1 had a recommendations forum, would have saved me a severe razzing.

I wasnt asking about horses in WR, that is the last of my worries.
 
Except your reference doesn't really work because horses were eventually put in. Granted things happen faster here, there also aren't 400,000 subscribers, nor are there an ass load of dudes to sit around and debate all day long about how to screw players over more, er... I mean help out the community.

But yes, in general, any valid and or reasonable suggestion is noted by Wiz and the rest of the crew. Normally you know within a few posts if it's a good idea or not, as Wiz keeps on top of the forums.

THank you acrobat..... you understand me entirely. Just about any game I play that involves patches or upgrades uses an Idea I post on the net in a future upgrade.. coincidence? deffinitely. EIther way. When it pops up years later I cant help but think "I told you so...."
