In true SOE fashion - the rules have changed once again. I remember quitting EQ for a while and then going to log back in and finding out my password had been changed and someone else had my account.

Illegal to sell/transfer accounts right?

Welllll...the reply I got from their customer "support" (hahaha...oh it hurts) was that "Well whoever is using that account has been paying for it for the past 3 months, so you don't have rights to that account any more".

That was the day I cancelled everything SOE related and swore I would never play anything of theirs again.

SOE bends/breaks/changes the rules as they see fit. Ignoring their own EULA if they want.

Pardon me but fuck you SOE. You haven't half the talent as Wiz and the other devs here. Bunch of jerk offs...

Sorry for the rant...being at work makes me hostile. :-D

ROFL! Think of the camp problems now, when REAL money is on the line...

Larthen - Druid
Savian - Monk

1. faster XP
2. no level loss, and the experience debt doesn't stack
3. no corpse retrieval, ever

These three things are the sole reasons that I REFUSE to play EQL. EQL is too much like a job. I seem to regen faster in WR too, but I'm a bit of a newb, so I may be wrong.

Yeah, WR is like all the good things about EQ with less aggravation (I only say less because there's always going to be some...I think it's built into the game engine :)

I do like that it progresses much faster than EQ so then I can play all the other classes I didn't have time to play in EQL as well.

I assume that "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em" means that if Sony can't beat the tools that sell everything on EBay/PlayerAuctions/etc., then Sony should just join them. If that's true, then it's probably closer to something like 85% think it's a bad move and 15% support it. The few that support it are the ones that have all of the extra money to drop on it to become "uber". I think it blows away any legitimacy that EQ had. Basically, money can buy you just about anything now, including a sword of uberness in a videogame.
