Ranger Tracking broken?

Has this been looked into?

I searched the forums for a while and the only related topic i found was from january.

If this has already been addressed then i'm sorry for dragging it back up. I'm just tired of being out-done by the druids and bards who have a tracking skill of less than half of ours
