I've been slaying Griffons in the Northern Badlands for days! Where's the girffon eye? Has anyone had a problem with this dropping?

It drops, it is just rare as hell. Seems it drops most often when you aren't there looking for it. I think my wizzie saw like three of them when I was killing stuff there while leveling.
